Who We Are
Meet the Grabert Ranch Gang
Following long-held dreams in 2018 Grabert Ranch was established, a 20-acre farm in the town of Winters. Tracing the footsteps of local traditions we planted an orchard with a variety of stone fruit trees. We branched out by planting our signature crop of Berries, Olallieberries and Marionberries. Yes! They grow fantastic in Winters, and we are happy to bring these delicious treats to you.
We grow what we sell, and our fruit is used to make small batch jams and pies in our home kitchen. We use far less sugar than most recipes allowing the ripened fruit to shine.
We also offer our raw wildflower honey from bees on our property, which is used to sweeten some of our products. We take special care to provide the bees with a lot of water and food sources so they can thrive.
We adhere to strict organic guidelines, and no pesticides or toxic chemicals are ever used. We have a variety of rescued animals on the property, llamas, sheep, donkey, chickens, and pot belly pigs which are happy to contribute to bug control and fertilizer. And of course, there are dogs and cats helping to take care of them all.
The Real Bosses of the Ranch
Our farm is a forever home to a motley crew of rescue donkeys, pot-belly pigs, llamas, guinea fowls, canada geese, chickens, peacocks, sheep, dogs, and cats. You’ll often find our geese lounging by the pond or our resident rooster making sure everyone is awake for the morning harvest.
We don't just farm because we love fruit; we farm because we love these animals. Every jar of jam you buy helps provide hay, healthcare, and a happy life for a creature in need. We trellis our Olallieberries by hand, to ensure that Grabert Ranch remains a place where nature and kindness thrive together.
Thank you from Grabert Ranch, we look forward to meeting you and having you try our products.
Laurie Grabert and Mike Haney.
A percentage of our profits goes to support our domestic and rescued farm animals.
